Great American Cleanup2021-04-24T09:00:00The Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup is the nation’s largest community improvement program, which takes place annually during spring in an estimated 15,000 communities nationwide.
The Great American Cleanup / Pikes Peak Partners is a coalition consisting of the City of Colorado Springs, Colorado Springs Utilities, El Paso County, City of Fountain, Friends of Palmer Park, Keep Colorado Springs Beautiful, City of Manitou Springs, Town of Monument, Pikes Peak Community College, Peaks N Pines Brewing Company, PikeRide, UC health, and UpaDowna. In 2019, over 1,000 volunteers collected refuse at local parks, trails, creeks, roads, and town centers. We are encouraging civic organizations, churches, scout groups, school groups, and individuals to participate in 2021 as we give the Pikes Peak region a “spring cleaning”!
